Welcome to Wildflower Cottages, located in the Davis Mountain area of Texas, near Big Bend!
We would like to take this opportunity to share a little information about our cottages. Whether you are looking for an intimate cottage for two or need to accommodate a much larger group, one of the Wildflower Cottages is just what you're looking for.All of our cottages were built prior to the 1930's. The Webster House was a summer home, built in 1898, by the Spencer Gregg family. It was purchased in 1917 by John Webster and has remained in the Webster family for three generations.
The Wildflower Cottage was built in 1917. It was once the home of a local sheriff. Like the Webster House, it has an adobe exterior, with tall windows that bathe its rooms with light and high ceilings which create a great sense of space and calm.
The Webster House and Wildflower each have porches. The Hummingbird Cottage has a sun porch. Each outside space has rockers, so that you can enjoy the fresh mountain breezes and the coming and going of butterflies and birds in the gardens by day, and the star-filled skies by night.
Every house has a fully equipped kitchen that has everything from wine glasses to a mountain view. Although we are not a bed & breakfast, we do provide coffee, filters and coffeemaker so you can enjoy mornings and evenings on the porch without having to leave the comfort of your retreat.
All linens are provided. Just bring your personal things and a sweater, because mornings and evenings are often cool here in the highest city in Texas.
No smoking allowed inside any of guest houses.
